I always adore Frida Kahlo, and her way of interpreting her agony through art. And up until now, she has been an inspiration for female artists and feminist.
And I a d o r e this fashion spread from DuJour Magazine. They interpret Kahlo in edgy, kitschy and yet the direction of the whole photo spread gives a lot sense of sophistication.
Instead of recreating her famous uni brow, they've made the eye brow as the focal point of the make up. Note -the more the merrier- patterns that's written all over the place, and yet they still compliment each other. And I'm loving the idea. <3
