I've been thinking a lot about my progression in life this year.
A lot of things happened this year, and I could say that they were rather nerve-poking.

And right now I'm relying to The Boss up there to do all the work. I'll just follow Him from behind,...no complain.

Going Kahlo

I always adore Frida Kahlo, and her way of interpreting her agony through art. And up until now, she has been an inspiration for female artists and feminist.

And I a d o r e this fashion spread from DuJour Magazine. They interpret Kahlo in edgy, kitschy and yet the direction of the whole photo spread gives a lot sense of sophistication.

Instead of recreating her famous uni brow, they've made the eye brow as the focal point of the make up. Note -the more the merrier- patterns that's written all over the place, and yet they still compliment each other. And I'm loving the idea. <3

BOOM BOOM POP!

The thing about POP music, is that it's so popular that you just can't get it out of your head. And right now the song Boom Boom Pow by Black Eyed Peas is just stuck in my head for God knows how long.

Come to think of it I like the word "POW", it reminds me of Lichtenstein's

Roy Lichtenstein, "Sweet Dreams, Baby!" (1965)

And you have to see these 'KA-POW' rings and necklaces by a Tokyo based brand: Ambush. ♥ ♥ ♥

I saw this captivating image of Grace Jones wearing (of course) S.Jones' couture hat on the cover of V's spring cover a couple of months ago online, and I saw the real issue today at the bookstore. (i have a liiiiife! a real life!)

Do you ever get turned on by seeing visuals? like..porn.
You know, that adrenaline rushing to your face and everything? but not necessarily has to be sexually wanting to do something with yourself..er......
I got that adrenaline rushing to my face when I see this image..
Well anyways, that's not the point of this post.


So.. fierce.

And what I didn't realize is that bowler hat, the placing of the hat, the smirk and with the baldness of ms Jones.. she looks awfully like Elmer Fudd from the Looney Tunes, yes?

I got the hots for the leopard like jumper, as in.. VERY HOT.... but when I see the actual garment..
2 things came up to my disappointment (note that these thoughts came up for just 2 seconds):
1. the color is much more desaturated
2. very adorable for the moment, for the moment that means with that amount it's not an investment...
So I decided to choose the center one in gray (with oh so many consideration),
the tuxedo-like jumper...
